Luxury and Fine Dining in the Alta Badia

The first time I walked into the ✭✭✭✭ Hotel Rosa Alpina I knew I had found something special. I was there helping to guide a group of journalists who were all staying at the Hotel and enjoying daily activities organized by DolomiteMountains. Together with some of the journalists I enjoyed an amazing breakfast in a stunning dining room, chatted with the friendly cook, was welcomed by the owner of the Hotel, Hugo Pizzinini, and found myself feeling right at home in a caliber of hotel in which one can often feel a bit awkward.

Later that evening, Hugo personally welcomed everyone back to the Hotel and proceeded to prepare a memorable meal in one of the Hotel’s fine dining restaurants.

Now that I have come to know both Hugo and the Hotel Rosa Alpina a bit better, I have come to see why so many local Guides use it to impress their clients. The food is superb, in fact some of the best in the Alta Badia, the hotel itself is a perfect combination of luxury and affordability, the town of San Cassiano is one of the most beautiful in all the Dolomites, and owner Hugo Pizzinini enjoys doing more than running a hotel. He hosts cooking clinics, has separate and special lodging available high in the mountains, provides endless services to his guests, and by working with a local guide service, is able to host countless visitors who come to the Italian Dolomites to experience everything the region has to offer.

From the door of the hotel in the village of San Cassiano, you will literally be able to set out on hikes to mountain huts, ride singletrack mountain bike trails, road ride the Dolomites most famous passes, or hop on a gondola to ski.

For travelers looking for an unmatched luxurious and decadent experience in the Dolomites, the Hotel Rosa Alpina is your choice.

There are always exciting year round events on the schedule. To learn more, or for booking information, visit Hotel Rosa Alpina online
